Minimum Operating Security Standard (MOSS) is the country specific UNSMS approved standards for all UN field operations. All duty stations are required to implement the approved country MOSS standards to reduce security risks to an acceptable level.

FAO Field Security Unit monitors MOSS levels of all FAO facilities through the "MOSS compliance report" available in COIN, that provides an overall status of the implementation of approved standard measures for all facilities hosting FAO staff. This information is related to the list of FAO premises available in the "Facilities Management" module in COIN.
