- Urban Gardening - To provide FAO and UNDP staff with practical examples of urban gardening techniques, suport the promotion of personal food security and to encourage healthier lifestyles, FAO Jamaica is leading by example through the establishment of an office garden. Enthusiasm abounds as staff work together to build containers, plant and tend the garden, and eventually reap the 'vegetables' of their labour. More updates to come!
- Dr. Campbell has been appointed a member of the Board of Centre of Excellence for Advanced Technology in Agriculture (CEATA) which was recently established in order to build capacity in agriculture.
- Dr. Campbell has also been appointed to a Biofuels Task force which has recently been established after the Government became involved in a trilateral programme with Brazil and the United States of America to develop a biofuels industry.
