FAO Provides Equipment to Strengthen Ethiopia’s National Pesticide Laboratory

Feeding your family well: A Root and Tuber Field Day: 24-25 March 2012, Meisso Woreda (West Haraghe), and 27-28 Mach 2012, Wolaita Soddo.

FAO is conducting ‘Root and Tuber Crop Field Days’ targeting key stakeholders to share the lessons from the Root and Tuber Crop Project.  Further popularize root and tuber crops as a viable, alternative source of food. The Field Days will be conducted from 24-25 March 2012 in Me’eso Woreda (West Hareghe) and from 27-28 March 2012 in Wolaita Zone. The events are part of the effort to changing public perception about the benefits of root and tuber crops as alternative sources of quality, nutritious food  particularly in drought prone areas of the country.
